Annmarie Carvalho is a recovering divorce solicitor turned therapist, trainer and public speaker. She is the founder of TCC, a multi-award-winning therapy, training and coaching agency which specialises in helping lawyers stay sane. Annmarie practised as a lawyer and mediator at Farrer & Co before founding TCC, which provides services including in-house therapy and interactive training on the psychology of law and legal practice. Annmarie has won LexisNexis, Resolution and National Counsellors’ Awards for her work.
Francesca Porter is Group General Counsel at Onfido. Francesca joined Onfido in 2017 and became General Counsel in 2020. Previously she was Legal Counsel at Hewlett-Packard, having first worked in private practice at Hogan Lovells.
Stephanie Stevenson is Director of Legal Operations at TripleLift. She was previously Service Design Lead at LOD. Stephanie trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where she practised as an Associate, before transitioning into various project and change management roles.
Anne-Sophie Konan is Commercial Counsel (EMEA) at HubSpot. She has held a number of in-house roles in the tech and consulting sectors.
Richard Mabey is the co-founder and CEO of Juro, one of the UK and Ireland’s 100 fastest-growing technology scale-ups. A former M&A lawyer at Freshfields, Richard founded Juro in 2016, and was recently shortlisted for the scale-up entrepreneur of the year by the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
Michael Haynes is the General Counsel at Juro. Michael has years of experience taking leading roles in legal teams at fast-growth companies. He was Group Head of Legal at Cazoo, after senior roles at RVU and Zoopla (ZPG). Michael trained and practised at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before moving in-house.
Ross Davies is a partner in the London office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he has a wide-ranging corporate and mergers and acquisitions practice. Over the past decade, Ross has guided clients on structuring, negotiating, and executing high-profile and complex mergers and acquisitions, including in the private equity, alternative investment, and venture capital sectors. He has also advised UK-listed clients on bespoke public and private M&A activity, joint ventures, fundraisings, stock exchange matters, and equity capital markets work.
Sarah Beddoes is General Counsel of Adarga, where she also co-chairs its committee for responsible AI. She was previous General Counsel at Corax and an LPC Lecturer at BPP Law School. Sarah practised in the commercial litigation teams at Olswang and at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Raj Mahapatra is senior counsel in the London office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he brings to his practice three decades of varied career experience in a broad spectrum of sectors including PR, biotech, insurance, and nonprofit, with recent deep expertise in AI and Clean Tech. Raj primarily focuses on legal matters ranging from corporate governance and finance to intellectual property and policy.
Khim Kharaud is Senior Legal Counsel at Xero, which she joined in 2020. Khim trained at Hogan Lovells, before practising as a Senior Solicitor in Corporate / M&A at Macfarlanes for more than seven years.
Eveline Verbeek is Head of Legal at Temper. She previously held various senior in-house legal roles, and worked in private practice at Hammerstein Advocaten and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
Xavier is a seasoned legal professional, executive, and an advocate for social impact, currently serving as the Chief Legal and Talent Officer at Beamery, a global leader in talent management software. With over 10 years of experience in law and advising early stage and growth companies, Xavier has held numerous senior roles across various industries, including legal tech, private equity and tech more broadly.
Caroline is the Chief Legal Officer at Six Degrees in 2023. Caroline has over 20 years’ experience working in both the UK and the US, with significant expertise in complex technology transactions including AI, payment services, IP, data privacy, security, licensing, and outsourcing. Caroline has previously held a series of senior leadership roles within the technology sector with high-profile brands including GoCardless, Rackspace, and BT.
Amy has over 10 years of experience working with SaaS companies. She transitioned from Chief Legal Officer to Chief Operating Officer at Yoto. She specialises in advising and balancing internal and external stakeholders whilst building a diverse, collaborative and agile legal team.
Lars Krooshof is Junior Legal Counsel at Temper. He previously worked in-house at Rabobank and in private practice.
Flora has worked as in-house counsel in the tech industry for her entire legal career, helping to grow business revenue while protecting company interests for start-ups to tech giants. She has experience across a wide array of legal areas - a true generalist at heart. Leading with an emphasis on human capital, she passionately believes that all individuals should be empowered and enabled in their role to reach their best potential. A California native and graduate from UCLA School of Law, she now lives in London with her partner and three children.
Victoria Ferguson is General Counsel at C TWO. She was previously General Counsel & Partner at MMC Ventures, and a Director at TalMix. Victoria trained and qualified at Simmons & Simmons, before working at Jones Day as a Solicitor for eight years.
Ed Boal is Head of Legal at Shieldpay. Prior to this Ed spent 13 years in private practice, working with some of the UK’s most innovative companies.
Harvey Kaye is Head of Legal at Farewill. Previously, Harvey spent several years in senior legal roles at WeWork. Prior to this he practised as a Solicitor at Ashurst.
Lucy Ashenhurst is a Fractional GC, advising several high-growth startups in the climate space. Prior to this she has held numerous contract and permanent GC roles, and spent two years as General Counsel of Omnipresent. Lucy worked in private practice at Olswang, White & Case and Jones Day.
Dipika is General Counsel at Spoon Guru Limited, having previously worked at Linklaters and PepsiCo. Dipika was recently selected as a Women Who Will. Dipika mentors legal counsel and law students and she is on the committee of the Association of Asian Women Lawyers. Dipika also teaches at BPP University in London.
Georgia leads Taylor Root in-house corporate and commercial permanent and interim teams, helping GCs scale legal teams across the UK and globally. She has been in the recruitment industry since 2011 with a focus on the senior legal executive search market across a range of industries and particular expertise in the high-growth technology, digital and e-commerce space. She has successfully placed lawyers with FTSE 100 corporates through to smaller listed and PE, VC-backed companies.

Thomas Wynne is the co-founder and CEO of Capsule, an API driven commercial insurance broker for growing businesses. Capsule was founded in 2021 and is supporting over 500 of the UKs most exciting venture-backed scale-ups, including Juro GC community members like Codat, what3words and Sylvera. Prior to Capsule, Tom was MD at insurance broker Kingsbridge where he led the business through a £120m exit to NYSE listed buyer in April 2020.
Ken Siegel is an advisor in the Executive Advisory Program of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Resident in the firm’s Palo Alto office, Ken provides practical, business-savvy solutions to the legal and related business issues faced by privately and publicly held enterprises in industries ranging from enterprise software and semiconductor test equipment to high-end security products and solutions. Ken has extensive experience in wide-ranging legal matters, from corporate governance and finance matters and litigation to cybersecurity and intellectual property.
April is the Fintech and Venture Lead at Capsule with over seven years of experience in placing FinTech and VC insurance programmes. She looks after some of the fastest growing scale-ups offering custom insurance solutions to support them on their journey from startup to IPO. Along with leading the charge for the team on new product development and insurer relationships.
Sam is the GC at Thirdfort, leading the group's legal team as well as taking responsibility for risk, compliance, regulatory and compliance affairs. Previously, Sam was the Head of Legal at Generation Home and worked as a litigator at Mishcon de Reya LLP.
Lucy is a director at Melius Law, a boutique legal operations consultancy that helps in-house legal teams manage and optimise their legal function. Prior to joining Melius, Lucy worked for KPMG delivering legal operations consultancy services to clients and internally, and has also gained significant experience as a senior in-house lawyer and GC across various industries and businesses.
Jim Watts is the UK General Counsel of HSBC Innovation Banking. He previously spent more than 12 years as the EMEA General Counsel of Silicon Valley Bank. Jim has experience advising some of Europe’s most successful technology startups on key transactions and milestones, as well as building in-house legal teams.
Romain Libeau is the Co-Founder & CEO of Pivot. He was Marketing Director at Deliveroo before joining the French employee benefits unicorn Swile as the first employee, where he was successively CMO, then COO and finally CPO. In 2023, he co-founded Pivot with Marc-Antoine Lacroix and Estelle Giuly. Pivot is a modern Intake-to-Pay tool that helps companies keep their spend under control while enhancing their teams.
