Tom Hambrett
Partner and Chief Legal Officer, Revolut

Tom Hambrett is the Chief Legal Officer and Partner at Revolut. Joining as the sole legal counsel in 2017, Tom built and now leads a legal team of over 160 across multiple continents. During his tenure, Revolut has expanded to 50 million customers and achieved a valuation of $45 billion. Tom's expertise includes complex financings, forging strategic partnerships and navigating diverse regulatory landscapes. Prior to Revolut, he practiced corporate and securities law at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Carol Copland
General Counsel, Raspberry Pi

Carol Copland is General Counsel at Raspberry Pi. Carol is a seasoned commercial lawyer with over two decades of experience advising international organisations across various sectors. In private practice, she held senior roles at gunnercooke and at Linklaters. In-house, she has previously held leadership roles at Metaswitch Networks, the QCA and English Heritage. Carol has been GC and Company Secretary at Raspberry Pi since 2018, guiding it through its IPO in 2024.

Richard Mabey
CEO, Juro

Richard Mabey is the co-founder and CEO of Juro, one of the UK and Ireland’s 100 fastest-growing technology scale-ups. A former M&A lawyer at Freshfields, Richard founded Juro in 2016, and was recently shortlisted for the scale-up entrepreneur of the year by the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. In 2019, he was named one of the top ten legal technologists globally by the FT. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MA (hons.) from Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the RSA.

Mary Bonsor
Founder, Flex Legal

Mary Bonsor is the CEO and co-founder of Flex Legal, an award-winning legal tech platform launched in 2016 to connect law firms and in-house legal teams with lawyers and paralegals on a flexible, on-demand basis. A former property litigation solicitor, Mary transitioned from private practice to entrepreneurship to address challenges in legal resourcing and access to experience for aspiring lawyers. Mary was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women in Law Awards 2020.

Nicholas Butts
Director, Global AI & Cybersecurity, Microsoft

Nicholas Butts is Director of Global Cybersecurity and AI Policy at Microsoft. Previously he held senior positions at Faculty AI and at HP Inc., leading government relations and trade teams during pivotal events such as the US-China trade tensions. Nicholas is the co-author of the forthcoming book Tech Cold War: The Geopolitics of Technology, which explores the global dynamics of technological competition. He is the co-founder of Geotech Advisory, advising policymakers, investors, and Fortune 500 companies on technology policy.

Khim Kharaud
Senior Legal Counsel, Xero

Khim is a senior lawyer in the fintech industry. She is currently Senior Legal Counsel at Xero, a global accounting platform for small businesses. Khim has supported the implementation of some of Xero’s key strategies in AI and payments. Before moving in-house, Khim honed her skills as a corporate and M&A lawyer in private practice, advising on a number of high-profile transactions. Khim is also the founder of Mothers in Law, a programme to empower mothers in the legal profession.

Laurence Mills
Head of Legal, Runna

Laurence Mills is Head of Legal at Runna, where he supported the company through its acquisition by Strava, having joined as the first full-time legal hire just months earlier. Prior to Runna, he supported a fast-scaling business through a Series B funding round with a similarly short turnaround. Prior to moving in-house, Laurence practised at various top UK law firms, having trained at Berwin Leighton Paisner.

Annick O’Brien
General Counsel, Cybsafe

Annick O’Brien is General Counsel at CybSafe, and an expert on AI regulation. Annick is a certified Compliance Officer and Cyber Risk Officer. She is also an INSEAD-certified communicator and change management professional. Annick chairs the Diversity in Cyber Security Working Group of the Swiss Cyber Forum, serves as an Ambassador for the International Cyber Threat Task Force, and is the Geneva Chapter Chair for PrivacyConnect.

Daniel Glazer
London Managing Partner, Wilson Sonsini

Daniel Glazer is an American technology lawyer, strategic business advisor, and the founding partner of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's London office. Since the 2010 launch of the UK Government's "Tech City" initiative, Daniel has advised high-growth UK and other European technology and life sciences companies on raising capital, expanding their businesses into U.S. markets, and connecting with U.S. investors, corporates, advisors, and other stakeholders.

Raj Mahapatra
Senior Counsel, Wilson Sonsini

Raj Mahapatra is senior counsel in the London office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he brings to his practice three decades of varied career experience in a broad spectrum of sectors including PR, biotech, insurance, and nonprofit, with recent deep expertise in AI and clean tech. Matt Oxley

Tanisha Minev
Senior Legal Counsel, Docplanner

Tanisha Minev is a seasoned legal counsel and operations specialist, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Docplanner. Previously she was Senior Legal Counsel at Yoco, and Legal Counsel at Deloitte South Africa. With over a decade of experience in legal practice and corporate settings, she has developed a deep understanding of the legal challenges faced by high-growth companies. Tanisha is also a co-author of Legal Operations in the Age of AI and Data, which offers practical insights into modernizing legal functions through technology and data analytics.

Ian Newton
Head of Business Development & Strategy, Raspberry Pi

Ian Newton is Head of Business Development and Strategy at Raspberry Pi, where he played a pivotal role as the internal IPO adviser to the CEO and Board during the company's successful listing on the London Stock Exchange in June 2024 . His strategic guidance was instrumental in navigating the IPO process, contributing to Raspberry Pi's transition to a publicly traded company. With a strong background in business development and strategic planning, Ian continues to drive growth initiatives and expand market opportunities for Raspberry Pi.

Head of Venture & Growth, HSBC Innovation Banking

Sonya Iovieno is Head of Venture & Growth at HSBC Innovation Banking UK, where she leads support for high-growth, VC-backed companies from Series A through to IPO or profitability. With over 20 years of corporate banking experience, Sonya has been instrumental in scaling the bank's operations across Europe. Melanie Lawn is a seasoned customer success leader and venture partner at Eight Roads, where she collaborates with portfolio founders to scale customer-centric operations. Melanie has held numerous senior positions such as Chief Customer Officer at Peakon, acquired by Workday for $700 million, and Chief Revenue Officer at Forecast. Her expertise includes building and scaling customer success teams, managing the customer lifecycle, and driving commercial outcomes. Madeleine Brown
IP Practice Leader, CFC Underwriting

Maddi Brown is the IP Practice Leader at CFC, where she spearheads the development of innovative insurance solutions tailored for startups and SMEs. Maddi has been instrumental in launching comprehensive policies that offer both defense and enforcement coverage. Kit Lewin
Head of Partnerships, Capsule

Kit Lewin is Head of Partnerships at Capsule Insurance, a B Corp-certified firm specializing in tailored insurance solutions for high-growth startups and scale-ups. Michael Haynes

Alex Haskell is Co-Head of Legal and Head of Global Affairs at ElevenLabs, an audio AI research and deployment company. He leads litigation, regulatory strategy, IP, public policy, and helps shape the company’s brand and reputation. From 2022–2024, Alex was Special Assistant to the US President and Chief of Staff in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, helping pass major laws like the Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS & Science Act, and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
