New in Juro: Improved signatures, version review, headers & footers

This month, we've made the signature experience even simpler, added a new 'Changes' tab to version review, and improved header and footer customization.

Improved signature experience

Everyone loves getting to a fully signed document, so we've added a new 'Assign to' button to signature blocks, and a warning window to prevent accidental deletion.

'Assign to' button

Assigning a signature block is now simpler and more intuitive with the new 'Assign to' button.

Warning window

Users are now warned and asked if they want to proceed if they attempt to delete a signature block. This reduces the risk of a user mistakenly deleting a block and you losing any custom company formatting to it (e.g. asking for the signatory title).

Wording improvements

We've also made some changes to the wording, to make things more intuitive for all team members:

  • ‘Simple link’ is now ‘Signature link’
  • '+Add signatory' is now '+Add new signatory', to reflect pressing this will add an additional new signature block on the document.

Faster version review

We've made even more improvements to version review.

Changes tab

We've added a new 'Changes' tab to version review so that you can analyze changes faster. This new tab shows a list of all text changes and suggestions within a contract version, along with a word count to help you understand the volume of changes at a glance.

Navigation bar

We've also added a clickable navigation bar so that you can identify changes and find them faster.

Customizable headers and footers

In the latest release, you can now:

Add and edit headers and footers

To add or edit headers and footers:

  • Hover over the very top or bottom area of a document to reveal the header and footer section.
  • Click into the area to add or edit the header or footer.

You can use most functionalities you are used to from the normal editor such as tables, images, rules and all text formatting options.

Add page numbers

To add a page number to a header or footer, use the toolbar inside the header or footer or open the ‘Options’ menu in the top right area. This will insert a placeholder that shows the correct page number when exported to a PDF or docx.

Access on demand

To access added headers or footers when scrolling through a document, press the ‘Header’ / ‘Footer’ button at the top or bottom edge of the document to open the overlay. Click into the overlay to edit the contents.

You can remove header and footer individually by deleting all their content or using the remove function in the ‘Options’ menu.
