Rhys Edwards is the Principal Legal Counsel at Monzo, where he previously held the role of Senior Legal Counsel. Rhys is experienced in commercial, intellectual property, and data protection law, but has a strong specialism in the financial services sector.
Before joining Monzo, Rhys was the Legal Counsel at the Bank of England, working in the central banking division. Rhys trained and qualified at Travers Smith, but has legal qualifications from the University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, and BPP Law School.
