Why is everyone talking about remote onboarding, and how is it different to regular onboarding? Juro's Talent Acquisition Lead sets the scene and introduces this guide.

Thomas Forstner is the VP of People & Talent at Juro, where he leads the development of Juro’s people strategy and talent initiatives. Joining Juro in 2020, Thomas has played a pivotal role in scaling the team and building a world-class talent acquisition framework to support Juro’s rapid growth. 

His focus on values-driven hiring and a positive candidate experience has established Juro as an employer of choice, with industry-leading Glassdoor ratings and a string of employer awards.

Before Juro, Thomas held key roles at Paddle, where he scaled the workforce from 35 to 135 employees and helped launch Paddle’s international expansion, including opening its first US office. His career also includes talent and recruitment roles at Algolia and Bosch Japan, where he developed scalable hiring practices and fostered a diverse, inclusive culture. 

With a strong background in people management and talent operations, Thomas ensures that Juro attracts and retains top talent in a way that aligns with the company’s mission and values.

Alison Eastaway is Performance Director at Poolside, a software development company. Prior to this, Alison was the VP of People at Sqreen where she built and led the People & Talent department. Alison is an experienced human resources executive with a wealth of experience in tech startups and scaleups. She has also contributed to several publications sharing her experiences as a People and Talent leader.

Hiring a new employee should be a happy moment, but offer letters consistently let the process down. Juro's co-founder and CEO shares his experiences creating a great experience with offer letters.

Richard Mabey is the CEO and co-founder of Juro, the intelligent contract automation platform. Under his leadership, Juro has scaled rapidly, backed by $38 million in venture funding from prominent investors including Eight Roads, USV, Point Nine Capital and Seedcamp, and the founders of companies like Indeed, Gumtree and Wise.

Richard trained and qualified at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, working as an M&A associate in London and New York. He gained an MBA from INSEAD, and then spent time at LegalZoom, learning to build legal tech products.

Frustrated by the manual legal processes that slow down businesses, Richard co-founded Juro in 2016, with a mission to help the world agree contracts faster. Beyond Juro, he hosts the "Brief Encounters" podcast, makes angel investments, and supports other ambitious ventures from the boardroom. Richard is a Fellow of the RSA, an adviser to The Entrepreneurs Network and sits as a Non-executive Director of Bright Blue.
