ShareFile stores and shares files securely. But storing a contract is not the same as managing one. If your team is using ShareFile for contracts, the drafting, negotiation, and tracking are all happening somewhere else. Juro brings it together.

Teams that outgrow ShareFile aren't looking for better file storage. They're looking for a platform where contracts get created, reviewed, approved, signed, and tracked - without the process falling apart between tools.

With ShareFile, someone still has to draft the contract before it enters the platform. Juro gives business teams intake forms, automated contract templates, and an AI-assisted editor built into the browser. Contracts get created in line with legal's guardrails from the start, without GCs touching every request.

Files stored in ShareFile are just that: files. Contracts stored in Juro are structured data from day one. Contracts are searchable by status, counterparty, value, and custom fields. Plus, Juro Operator goes further: ask the portfolio what's renewing next quarter, which contracts include a liability cap, where your biggest renewal risk sits. No spreadsheet, no digging.

ShareFile integrates well with Microsoft and storage tools - the right fit if your priority is secure file exchange. But contracts don't start in storage. They start in a CRM, a Slack message, or a procurement request. Juro connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, and more, so the people closest to the deal can initiate, track, and close contracts without delays or tool hopping.
“Implementing Juro has revolutionized the way that my team manages contracts! Tasks that used to take 1-2 hours are now completed in a fraction of that time!”
“Using Juro as our CLM tool has changed the game for our legal team. Implementation was excellent. Each of our contract stakeholders (including counsel) has increased visibility into contract terms and status”
“One of the amazing things about Juro is that the sales team can self-serve and take a lot of the initial burden off of the legal team”
"Sometimes the interface can feel a bit complex for new users. The interface could be improved by simplifying the navigation menus and making key actions like uploading, sharing, and setting permissions more visible."
"Customer support since Progress acquisition is some of the worst within the industry. It's impossible to get a response from support, the partner programs team, or the account manager. I highly advise staying away from this company"
"It is a very simplistic file-sharing platform, with features that seemingly could be achieved other ways, including Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, DropBox... There don't seem to be that many features"
No. ShareFile is a secure file-sharing and document storage platform, with eSignature added as a feature on higher-tier plans. It does not draft contracts, manage approval workflows, support in-browser negotiation, or provide post-signature analytics.
Teams using ShareFile for contracts typically still rely on Word for drafting, email for negotiation, and manual tracking for renewals. Juro replaces all of that in one platform.
ShareFile was acquired by Progress Software in October 2024 for $875 million. It had previously been part of Citrix, under Cloud Software Group. For teams evaluating ShareFile, the change in ownership has been a live consideration - a number of long-standing customers have reported billing and support issues in the wake of the transition.
Previously, ShareFile acquired RightSignature.
No. ShareFile has no in-platform redlining, tracked changes, or counterparty collaboration.
When a contract needs to be negotiated, teams leave ShareFile entirely - typically reverting to email and Word to exchange redlines before uploading the final version for signing.
Juro keeps the whole process in one place. Counterparties can review and mark up contracts in the browser, and every change is tracked against a single version of the document.
