Juro's contract reader reshapes AI capabilities in legal technology

In a major update for Juro, we're pleased to release contract reader. Our customer-focused product team built the feature using AI technologies to make legacy contracts work for everyone.

‍What does contract reader do? 🤔

In short, contract reader does some of the heavy lifting in bridging the gap between static PDF documents and online contracts created in Juro. The technology:

• Analyses uploaded PDF contracts;
• Recognises and extracts relevant data into fields - including things like names, dates, jurisdictions, and so on; 
• Allows for easier duplication of contracts in the future;
• Stores the uploaded contracts within the same space as the documents created natively on the platform

Old PDF contracts become digital documents in Juro in a matter of moments, managed entirely through the platform. Juro already allows for internal and external negotiation, conditional logic, renewal reminders and approvals, leading to a fully-automated workflow, regardless of whether your contract started life in Juro or as a PDF.

Who can use contract reader? 📑

This release is of huge benefit to current and future users, introducing Juro’s design-led interface and frictionless workflow to legacy contracts, alongside those documents natively created in Juro’s machine-readable editor.

As our in-house legal clients become more data-driven, we're delighted to support them with AI data extraction capabilities. This is an important milestone in the development of the contract collaboration platform we have been building for the last 3+ years.
